Switchgrass Summer Art Program

Get creative this summer at the Switchgrass Summer Art Program in Lucas! This free weekly program offers hands-on art experiences for children and teens of all ages, with projects ranging from painting and watercolor to weaving, sculpture, jewelry making, recycled art, and more.

Classes are held Thursdays at Switchgrass and are designed to provide a welcoming environment for different ages and learning styles. A Toddler & Preschool session begins at 11:00 AM, followed by a Social Art session at 12:00 PM and a Quiet Art session at 1:00 PM for older youth.

The Summer Art Program is facilitated by Switchgrass and Feeding the Children of North Central Kansas. Participants are encouraged to RSVP by the previous week.
